REQUISITI:

Candidate Profile & Skills:



  • Education: a degree in Economics, Foreign Languages, or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent background.

  • Experience: a few years (two or three) of experience in international sales or export operations.

  • Languages: fluent English + one other major language (Spanish, French, or German) is highly preferred.

  • Sales Fundamentals: understanding of sales cycles, negotiation basics, and customer needs. 

  • Technical Savvy: ability to learn the clinical benefits of medical devices to explain them to distributors and customers. Ability to gain a basic understanding of local registration requirements for medical devices.

  • Familiarity with digital tools: CRM systems, Excel, ERP platforms, and online communication tools. 

  • Organization & Time Management: ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and documents.

  • Availability to travel: traveling up to 30% of the time is required to meet distributors and participate into international fairs.

POSIZIONE LAVORATIVA

The Junior International BD Specialist supports the company’s international growth by researching new markets, identifying potential distribution partners, assisting in negotiations, and coordinating cross-border business initiatives. The main mission of the role focuses on supporting the company in recruiting distribution partners in untapped markets. The position reports to the Sales Director of the company.Key Responsibilities: Market Mapping & Lead Generation: Research high-potential international markets (e.g., DACH, LATAM, or Middle East), identify and qualify relevant distributors in those regions.Partner Recruitment: contact potential distributors, present the company’s medical equipment and technologies and assist the Sales Director in negotiating distribution agreements. Partner and network support: maintain regular communication with international distributors, respond to inquiries, and support business development with existing accounts.Competitor Intelligence: monitor international competitors’ pricing and product launches to ensure the company’s distributors remain competitive in their local tenders and sales activity.International Fair Strategy:  participate into major global congresses and take an active role in lead generation, with an aim at transforming booth visitors into long-term distribution partners.Cross-Functional Coordination: collaborate with the other company’s departments to ensure smooth execution of international deals.Trade Compliance: support documentation for customs, export controls, and international regulations.Administrative Reporting: maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions using CRM software.
